In 2025, the conference welcomed more than 17,000 participants and 120 exhibiting companies from around the world, reflecting its strong regional and international standing. The event, held across EWB’s expansive facilities, utilised over 34,000 square metres of space, including the Grand Hall (A, B, C, D, E), Halls 7 and 8, Hall 2, 19 meeting rooms, and all VIP Majlises. EWB’s diverse and versatile venue spaces enabled the complex requirements of MEOS GEO, facilitating global dialogue on pressing industry issues. The event spanned a variety of formats, including pavilions, networking lounges, and technical discussions, providing ample opportunities for collaboration between energy professionals. EWB’s state-of-theart infrastructure and expansive exhibition spaces were a crucial factor in MEOS GEO’s success, effectively supporting the exhibition’s diverse activities while offering cutting-edge facilities for global companies to display their innovations in upstream oil and gas technologies, petroleum geosciences, and related sectors.
Unmatched Access and Convenience for Attendees
A major challenge for large-scale international events is ensuring smooth access for thousands of participants. For MEOS GEO 2025, EWB went above and beyond, offering more than 1,400 dedicated parking spaces, supplemented by an additional 2,800 overflow spaces. To streamline the process further, shuttle buses were deployed from the overflow parking to the East Entrance, guaranteeing hassle-free access for all attendees. This infrastructure ensured that the large crowds experienced smooth logistics, allowing participants to focus on the event’s core offerings.
Culinary Offerings and VIP Hospitality
A hallmark of EWB’s commitment to excellence is its culinary services, which were crucial for making MEOS GEO a memorable experience. The venue offered a range of bespoke catering options for the event, including opening ceremony refreshments, buffet lunches, and silver service lunches for delegates throughout all event days. The EWB culinary team also operated and managed food sales in the Informa coffee lounge within the exhibition space. Additionally, attendees enjoyed premium services like all-day barista coffee, VIP Gahwa, and canapé pass-arounds in the VIP Majlises, ensuring a high level of hospitality suiting the international audience.

From early planning through to execution, the EWB team worked closely with Informa Markets to ensure a flawless experience. This included providing high-quality AV and rigging solutions, ensuring robust Wi-Fi connectivity for live streaming and interactive sessions, and delivering exceptional event branding and marketing placements. To ensure comfort and safety, EWB also managed continuous cleaning, waste management, and traffic control, creating a seamless experience for both exhibitors and delegates. Coordinated security and emergency medical services provided peace of mind for all attendees.
